If the Roses show at Feile in Cork on Sunday is anything to go by, then miss the tour at your peril.

What a performance (Even if Mr. Brown was not entirely on his game). Mr. Squire produced a truely phenomenal performance on guitar - watch out Jimmy Page.

Playlist:

To cap an amazing day, I met Ian in the hotel afterwards, and had drinks with Mani - he's some guy.

Best wishes,

Allan.

ps. If Weller is playing anywhere near you don't miss him either.

I just saw the Stone roses live in Cork last Sunday at Feile '95. The best concert I have seen in years. They were out of this world. Highlight was 'I am the resurection'.

I know many non-fans who have been converted. Squires guitar playing was fantastic.

I saw it too, while it was excellent and great to see the Roses at last don't you think that Ian Brown's vocals were a bit off especially on the older song which are my faves.

Yeah, he seemed a bit off tune all right but they were still wonderful. And they also seemed to enjoy it judging by they way thay acted at the end. They were also very appreciative of the crowd.

THE STONE ROSES returned to live performance in the British Isles in triumoh with a stunning show at the Feile Festival in Ireland on Sunday August 6.

More than 20,000 people witnessed the band, described by onlookers as being completely revitalised and the REAL 'Second Coming', play an 85-minute set beginning with 'I Wanna Be Adored'. Despite reportedly having six steel pins in his arm and shoulder, guitarist John Squire's performance was unimpaired. Drummer Robbie Maddix had injured his hand prior to the Roses going onstage, yet played the gig despite painful swelling. Any problems with Ian Brown's voice appear to have been overcome; according to rumours Brown has been having singing lessons. Alex from Blur later commented on anyone who had written off The Stone Roses: "It ain't over till the fat laddie sings!"

Despite difficulties in finding a venue...(snip)..stuff about the Fest..

Kosso...
